Social Media Coordinator

Working Hours: 11am to 4.30pm Saturdays

Location: Electical Engineering Building (G17) 120

Minimum Commitment: 12 Months

To engage BLUEsat’s online community with relevant and up-to-date content via blog posts, photos, videos, interviews, and email. Responsible for the online social media identity of our teams and their projects. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for leading the creative design and execution of project exposure and event updates.


  • Schedule project leads to submit blog posts and content material for BLUEsat’s online community
  • Collaborate with photographers and videographers on content creation
  • Partner with the event manager on student and industry-based events
  • Create email newsletters, schedule facebook posts and update Linkedin content


  • Commitment to work in a team environment
  • Research audience preferences and discover trend interests
  • Create engaging text, image and video content
  • Design posts to engage audience curiosity and create a buzz around the new material


  • Degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Economics or Engineering


  • Showcase the opportunities and benefits of partnering with the BLUEsat community
  • Develop skills in building an online presence and following that generates engagement and curiosity
  • Connect with a passionate and dedicated team of space enthusiasts with a commitment to connect student with industry
